Embroidered Denim bag

there is some sunshine, time to break out the sewing machine and make some new summer clothes.
So today in the café I will be sewing and there is some mini eccles cakes to have with a cuppa, later!

Today there is some rocky road and sachertorte in the café, 2 really chocolately things, no3 son is really hoping there will be some left for after school 🙂
On the sewing front, I finally tracked down an invisible zip that wasn’t going to cost £6 in postage, so the dress will hopefully be put together later, very exciting! And the sun is shining and I have some summery new fabrics for tote bags to cut today, pics later.
There is also some serious amount of sock knitting to be done, I need 2 finished pairs for my brother in 2 weeks, so far I have 1.2 of one pair and 1 of another, best get to it 😉
I did talk a newbie knitter into sock knitting the other night, I am hoping she is okay, I did leave her my number so hoping she would call if she wasn’t 😮

Wow, its still winter weather today, wet and wild outside.
Perfect weather for some sewing or knitting, we will be in the café from 12.30 with some yum banana and choc chip loaf to have with a cuppa.

I am busy sewing for the family wedding so there may be some dress assembly going on, so far we have this

hopefully for tomorrows fitting there will be more of it put together.

Tomorrow is the spring Craft Fair at the Harbour Arts Centre, there will be a lovely mix of stalls with handmade goodies to buy. Open from 11-4pm hope to see you then 🙂
I will have a couple of aprons for sale and details of an upcycle class to make your own.

Cranberry cookies being baked for the café this afternoon, where there seems to be lots of baby knitting going on. Seems like we are having a mini baby boom this summer. This is one of two wee jackets I am knitting for a set of twins.
