When I lived in France, I absolutely adored seeing pretty boxes of pastel coloured macarons, now I can’t just nip round the corner to buy some I decided it was time to try making them. Especially as my lovely sil posted a pretty photo of some she bought in NY city, next time I am definitely doing some wilder colours.
So today in the café we have pretty pink macarons with bramble jelly filling (home-made of course).
Its wet and wild outside, definitely time to think about winter woollies, this weekend I knitted a cowl and hat as someone had none, tragedy to live in a knitters house and have no woolly hat 🙂
I used some gorgeous aran from both Old Maiden Aunt and Babylonglegs, they match perfectly.
So macarons, some knitting, a little cutting and sewing in the café today, see you at 12.30
